Chris Davis is originally from Fairborn, Ohio and now makes his home in Russell, Kentucky. He has been playing bluegrass music, professionally, for over 25 years with many artists such as Larry Sparks, Alecia Nugent, Junior Sisk, Larry Cordle, The Grascals and currently with Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers. He has also played the Grand Ole Opry with country music's Diamond Rio while member Gene Johnson had recovered from heath issues. Mark Whitt has been around bluegrass music for most of his life. His family are from Sandy Hook Kentucky, although Mark was born in Ohio. Mark is defined with a traditional bluegrass voice and he handles lead vocals for the True Bluegrass Band. Danny Lee Davis, father of Chris Davis, started his musical journey playing guitar with his dad on fiddle at an early age. He played in a band with his father with others that turned into members of the Larry Sparks band. Danny worked for GM until he retired in 2003, and went to work with Dr. Ralph Stanley for five years. He has played the Grand Ole Opry. He took the place of Jack Cook with the Clinch Mountain Boys at that time due to Mr. Cook being ill. Joining Danny in the band will be his son Chris Davis, David Bowling and Rick Tincher. They will be doing Bluegrass standards , Flat and Scruggs, Bill Monroe, and the Stanley Brothers. Come on out for a great show , good food, family friendly, 50/50 raffle, and that homemade pie!
