Rooted in bluegrass, but with a backbone of gospel, Cādence is an up-and-coming group carving out a sound that’s as soulful as it is spirited. This central Ohio-based band features Rod Brown on guitar, David Walker on resonator guitar, Shawn Elliot on banjo and mandolin, Randy Elliot on acoustic and electric guitar, Diane Paul on bass, and all of them taking turns on vocals. Whether it's a traditional bluegrass tune, a mournful gospel ballad or a bluesy swing number, Cādence brings a fresh voice to American Roots music.
