Thunder and Rain is a Nashville-based newgrass band weaving together bluegrass instrumentation with award-winning songwriting inspired by pop, country, classic rock, and old-time. Their signature sound blends three-part harmony, sing-along choruses, and image-rich lyricism, all driven by thunderous banjo and fiddle.
Over their decade-long career, Thunder and Rain has shared the stage with artists such as Billy Strings, The Kruger Brothers, Peter Rowan, AJ Lee and Blue Summit, and The Brothers Comatose. Their 2020 single Run With You was selected for the IBMA Songwriter Showcase in 2023.
Come on out for this band's debut visit to the SBJ stage, House Band starts the music at 6 pm, Thunder and Rain appears at 7 pm. Enjoy great food, family friendly space, 50/50 raffle, and that there homemade pie! This is going to be a fantastic show, only $20 admission!
